Cardiac Strokes

Cardiac strokes occur as a result of blockage in blood vessels involved in supplying blood to the brain. The primary condition for this type of blockage is developed due to deposition of fat at the lining of the vessel walls. This type of condition is known as Atherosclerosis. The fatty deposits can cause two types of blockage: Cerebral thrombosis and Cerebral embolis.

  • Cardioembolic stroke
  • Catheter based therapy
  • Transient ischaemic attack
