The CME accredited 2nd Annual Conference on Heart Diseases will be held in Dallas, USA, from September 11-12, 2018. Session 1: Heart Diseases
Heart Disease also known as cardiovascular disease, coronary heart disease or ischemic heart disease is a condition that happens when the heart muscle is weakened. In this condition, the primary heart muscle is extended and widened. This condition results into heart disease. The weakened heart muscle suppresses heart's capacity to pump blood and can prompt heart disappointment.

Session2: Cardiac Surgery
Cardiac surgery, or cardiovascular surgery, is surgery of the heart or great vessels. It is often used to treat complications of ischemic heart disease; to correct congenital heart disease; or to treat valvular heart disease from various causes, including endocarditis, rheumatic heart disease, and atherosclerosis. It also includes Minimally Invasive Heart Surgery, Ventricular Assist Devices (VADs),heart transplantation and many more.

Session 3: Silent Ischemia and Ischemic Heart Disease
Ischemic Heart Disease, also known as Coronary Artery Disease, is a condition that affects the supply of blood to the heart. The blood vessels are narrowed or blocked because of the presence of cholesterol on their walls. This limits the supply of oxygen and supplements to the heart muscles, which is essential for proper functioning of the heart. This may eventually result in a heart attack.

Session 4: Cardiomyopathies and Heart Failure 
Cardiomyopathy is a condition where the heart muscle is abnormal. The main types of cardiomyopathy include dilated, hypertrophic and restrictive cardiomyopathy. Cardiomyopathy makes it harder for the heart to pump and deliver blood to the rest of the body. Coronary heart disease can lead to heart failure by weakening the heart muscle over time.The term heart failure doesn't mean that the heart has stopped or is about to stop working. It is a serious condition that requires medical care.

Session 5: Cardiovascular Genetics
Cardiovascular genetics is the study of the genetic mechanisms of circulatory functioning and pathophysiology. The risk of heart disease often occurs in families, suggesting a genetic influence. These can be single gene defects or many genes that together increase the risk of heart disease. Heritable factors underlie a number of cardiovascular diseases including diseases of the heart’s muscle, electric circuit and vasculature. These congenital heart conditions, sometimes referred to as cardiovascular genetic disorders, may go undiagnosed for years before being recognized or causing symptoms. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (MCH) is the most frequent hereditary cardiovascular disease.

Session 6: Hypertensive Heart Disease
Hypertensive heart disease refers to heart conditions caused by high blood pressure. If the high blood pressure is of unknown origin then it is known as primary hypertension and if the reason behind this is known than it is secondary hypertension. The reasons can be tumor, damage or disease of the kidneys or their blood vessels. Hypertensive heart disease includes heart failure, thickening of the heart muscle, coronary artery disease, and other conditions.

Session7: Diabetic Heart Disease
Diabetic heart disease (DHD) refers to a heart disease that develops in people with diabetes. People with diabetes are more likely to have certain conditions, or risk factors, that increase the chances of having heart disease or stroke, such as high blood pressure or high cholesterol. DHD can include Coronary Heart Disease(CHD), Heart Failure, and Diabetic Cardiomyopathy.

Session 8: Obesity and Heart Diseases
Obesity is a major reason behind heart disease. This is a chronic metabolic disorder associated with cardiovascular disease and increased morbidity and mortality. Particularly it includes hypertension; dyslipidemia, cholesterol or diabetes. The treatment of obesity is based on congestive heart failure, dyslipidemia, hypertension, non–insulin dependent diabetes, and obstructive sleep apnea.

Session 9: Cardiac Arrhythmia
Cardiac arrhythmia can be defined as a problem of heart rhythm that is heart beats too quickly, too slowly, or with an irregular pattern. When the heart beats more rapidly than normal, it is called tachycardia, when it beats too slowly, it is called bradycardia. Factors that can affect heart's rhythm are some of heart diseases, smoking, congenital heart defects, and stress.

Session 10: Cardiac Strokes
Cardiac strokes occur as a result of blockage within blood vessel supplying blood to the brain. The primary condition for this type of blockage is developed due to deposition of fat at the lining of the vessel walls. This type of condition is called atherosclerosis. The fatty deposits can cause two types of blockage: Cerebral thrombosis and Cerebral embolis.

Session 11: Cardio-Oncology
In patients who have been treated for cancer, some of the treatments may cause lasting damage to the heart. As a result of chemotherapy or radiation, cardiovascular complications such as premature blockage of arteries of heart, heart rhythm disorders and heart failure may develop. Chemotherapeutic cardiac toxicity is mainly classified into two types: Type 1 chemotherapy-related left ventricular (LV) systolic dysfunction, and Type 2 chemotherapy-mediated cardiotoxicity.

Session 12: Cardiovascular Imaging
Cardiac imaging is used to diagnose the heart related problems. This involves many techniques such as magnetic resonance imaging, echocardiography, computed tomography, angiography, and single photon emission computed tomography.  It is the one of the most advance technique for the treatment of heart and diseases related to it.

Cardiac regeneration mainly aims on repairing of heart tissues with the help of stem cell technology. Many tools have been manufactured to repair and restore the damaged tissues of the heart.
